Hello,

Microsoft ISA Server Control failed to start. In the Back office server
2000. The event log message is as follow.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Microsoft ISA Server Control
Event Category: None
Event ID: 11004
Date: 22-4-2006
Time: 20:16:35
User: N/A
Computer: SRV01
Description:
Microsoft ISA Server Control failed to start. The failure occurred during
Service initialization because the system call OpenService failed. Use the
source location 100.466.3.0.1200.365 to report the failure. The error code in
the Data area of the event properties indicates the cause of the failure. For
more information about this event, see ISA Server Help. The error description
is: The specified service does not exist as an installed service.

Further event id 7023 is in the event log.

Uninstalling and installing ISA server again did not solve the problem.
Knows anyone the answer for this problem?

Best regards,

Will
