We have several sales people who have hand held devices that can synch with
Exchange using ActiveSynch. However, we have Exchange 2000 (becasue we have
SBS 2000) and ActiveSynch is not part of that. I have heard that the product
mentioned in the subject line would allow this type of functionality if
installed. My question is, 1) Is this server software free now that
ActiveSynch has basically replaced it in more recent Exchange versions and
2) Can it also be run on the Small Bus Server - or should it be moved off to
its own server completely?

We are looking at upgrading to a more recent version of Exchange but money
is tight and we may not be able to do this for a long time.

Any thoughts or ideas on this?

Thanks, Brad

It has to be run on its own server..
No the software is not free...but I also doubt you'd be able to find it =
anymore

Your best bet right now would be getting new 64bit capable hardware in =
preparation for SBS 2008 which is expected out later this year

This would be much less expensive than just trying to upgrade Exchange =
itself as you'd have to buy all new CALs too
