Hi.
I am running a fully patched sbs2k box with a gig of ram (With the
page file set to approx 1500MB). Applications on the network are
really slowing down, including exchange and our fox pro accounts
system.

The server status page is constantly showing about 30% free memory.
However, on health monitor it keeps showing excessive page faults
(>200/sec). Upon further investigation in performance monitor it
shows that WinMgmt process is causing nearly all of the page faults
(an average of 100/sec). It also shows about 70% of memory being
commited and that my page file usage is around 50%. Throught the
monitoring the page file % use peaked at 60% and the available memory
hardly changed. What I dont understand is why I'm getting page faults
if there is still RAM and virtual memory available? Would these page
faults be causing the slow response on the network?

Thanks for any assistance!
