yes, Win98 runs well in 128MB. It doesn't matter how much more you throw at
it it probably won't run much better.
I recommend 512 for XP but will accept 256 at a pinch.
Sheesh, 128 for an NT4 server (vanilla) was slightly more than 'adequate'.
If you were to ask me to install your SBS onto a PC with 128MB of RAM I
couldn't guarantee I could do it and the first thing I would suggest is that
the additional money you are going to pay me for watching the install
progress at a snail's pace would be better spent elsewhere (ie. another
couple of sticks of RAM)
Some VirtualPC info:
Installing SBS2000 onto a VPC with 256MB RAM takes a lot more time than when
you allocate ~500.
Installing SBS2003 onto a VPC with 400MB RAM takes days.
