I would like to implement archive settings through group policy in our
domain. We have SBS 2000 and are using Outlook 2002 clients. How can I go
about doing this?

Thanks, Brad

I'll give you the quickie answer and you can post back if you have
questions.

Go to http://www.microsoft.com/office/orkarchive/XPddl.htm and download
OrkTools.exe. I can't remember exactly how this file works when you run it,
but you want to end up with the ADM Templates (*.ADM) in c:\windows\inf on
your SBS. Then add a new group policy object called something obvious like
"Office Settings." Under User Configuration, r-click Administrative
Templates and add the outlook10.adm or whatever the template you downloaded
is called (10 = 2002, right?). Once you've added it, you'll see that the
Outlook 2002 options are now available under Administrative Templates.

BTW, you can add any others that apply while you're at it - such as the
Office general one, Word, or anything else you use in your environment.
