Major Exchange Prob by Chris

Since IIS SMTP service is a required component for
Exchange Server 2000, I would imagine that the removal of
IIS has caused this and a few other problems that you may
not have noticed. For instance if you look in IIS manager
do you see any of the Exchange folders (Exchange, Public,
ExchWeb, etc)? If not then OWA will be broke as well.
When you re-installed IIS did you make sure and install
the SMTP and NNTP services? If not you'll need to do that
as well. Did you reapply Service packs? Do you have a
backup? If all else fails, I would guess that the best
solution would be to reinstall Exchange after a backup of
what you have now.
