HELP!!! I have SBS2000 configured and working for about 2 years now,
downloading using the POP3 Connector with a Global account, and mail
distributed to four internal exchange users. On the 5th of Oct, mail stopped
flowing. After investigation and Microsoft KB324236, I found out that the
mail is stuck in the Inforward folder. It is downloading properly from the
ISP, but than it does not get routed, it just stays in the folder. I
followed the instructions in the KB, moving the messages out, etc., but in
the end, all that happens is new mail keeps going into the folder without
getting routed either. I reran the ICW to see if that helped, but to no
avail either. I am not sure what else to try? I am close to purchasing the
SBS2003 upgrade and performing an inplace upgrade to see if that fixes it.
(I'm assuming that's painless, but I'm sure a whole other thread). If
anybody can point me in the next troubleshooting direction, it would be
greatly appreciated. I'm not sure what else to try.

Hi Mike...

When I have a problem I find uninstalling pop3 connector (make sure you have
the pop3 details first though...lol) works.

Email in the infolder can be drag and dropped into outlook express then you
can forward on when sorted.

Please note though that must delete the pop3 folder once uninstalled,
reinstall and see if works ?

BTW..maybe stupid question ..when was server last rebooted...tried this ?

I can certainly uninstall the POP3 Connector, although I thought by rerunning
the ICW, that was almost the same, but your right, not exactly. Do I just
delete the Connector from the Console, than delete the entire POP3 Connector
folder under Connectivity? Than rerun ICW?

and btw, yes, rebooted many times. Was probably my first troubleshooting
step back on the 5th.
