Since removing ISA server from the SBS2000 server (for
many reasons) i seem to have removed the POP3 connector
from the server - hence no email... oops!
Can any one tell me how i reinstall the POP3 onto the
server - i can't seem to find the place to reinstall it.

Many Thanks

James

Could you tell us the reasons why you needed to remove ISA? Just curious.
Have you tried reinstalling the POP3-connector with the Small Business
Setup? Drill down Exchange and make sure it is in maintainance mode.

Thank you for posting your question to the Newsgroup.

Use the following steps to install the POP3 connector:

1. Place the first SBS 2000 CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive.

2. When the Small Business Server 2000 Setup dialog box is displayed,
click Setup Up Small Business Server.

3. Click Next, click Next, and then type the administrator password in
the Automatic Logon Information dialog box.

4. Click Next.

5. Click Next, click Next, and then click Next.

6. In the Component Selection dialog box, click to expand Small
Business Server, and then click to expand Connectivity.

7. In the box that is next to Connectivity, click Reinstall.

8. In the box that is next to the POP3 connector, click Install.

9. Click Next. In this dialog box, you can view the components that are
about to be installed.

10. Click Next, and then insert the third SBS 2000 CD-ROM when you are
prompted to do so.

11. After the file copy procedure is finished, click Finish.

Hi James,

I don't understand why you removed ISA. Have you reinstalled that again?
Also, doesn't your ISP support SMTP?
