Hello All,

I know this is'nt really the forum but it is related. If I
have a Windows 2000 network with 4 domain controllers, how
can I specify that a particular workstation (W2K Pro) will
always logon to Server1 and not Server 2,3 or 4?

Hope you can help,

Brian

Hi Chad,

Dave Nickason posted a link - that was what I was after.
What I am trying to do is cut the amount of traffic over a
WAN. What was happening was that Workstations in Site1
where always authenticating to a DC in Site2 which was 70
miles away. There is quite a long logon script in use and
with 100 odd PC's logging on it was killing the link (ISDN
64K)

Cheers,

Brian

If you configure the sites as Sites in AD, you should find this addresses
your question. Take a look at the reskit on W2k AD information with Site
definitions.
