Logon Failure: The target account name is incorrect.
Symptom: 1. When attempting to gain access to a child domain controller from
the parent domain, you may receive "Logon Failure: The target account name
is incorrect" message.
2. When you try to promote domain controllers in new child domains or create
replicas, you may receive the above message.
3. This error may occur when you are promoting a large number of domain
controllers for newly created subordinate domains or new trees in the forest
while you are logged on with administrative credentials from a different
domain.
Causes: 1. This can occur if two computers have the same computer name. One
computer may be located in the child domain; the other computer is located
in the parent domain.
2. This issue may occur if the SPN for the domain that is hosting the
replica has not been propagated to the domain.
3. The domain controller is no available.
