I have a client that will shortly require a live video feed (client to
client - or PC to PC) - to verify documents (copies - but also needs to
"see" them). Yep, they're lawyers.
Will Messenger cut it do you think? Other thing I've thought of is
Netmeeting.
My questions:
a) what do you think is the best solution
b) is Messenger (SBS "intranet" version) OK to use, if not, what
version?
c) is Netmeeting ok in SBS?
d) in reply to b) or d) (or another alternative you may have suggested),
what ISA considerations are there?
client setup: SBS2K (POP, SMTP connectors used in exchange, SQL Server
used), 20 odd XP Pro wk.stations w' Office 2K Pro
The video setup would need to be good enough to read or at least
validate the document at hand (sent prior I guess, via remote 'place')
to the one at the remote place that's being held up to the camera by
someone for the "see, this is the one and same thing".
