Hi to all,

I have a user that the owner wants restricted external mail to Send/Receive
from only 2 specific external addresses (mother & sister). Does anyone know
of a way to do this? I can filter the "Receive" with Sunbelt Messaging Ninja
but I can't find anything on the "Send".

SBS 2000
Exchange 2000

Thanks,
Teddy

Hi again,

Sorry, this is what I need to accomplish if possible.
User allowed to send and receive mail from anyone@usercompanydomain.lan
User allowed to send and receive mail from mother@anyisp.net
User allowed to send and receive mail from sister@anyisp.com
User not allowed to send or receive mail from any other address.

Thanks again,
Teddy

Forgive my stating the obvious here but doesn't "anyone"
by definition include "mother" "Sister" and "Any other address" ?

Hi again,

No, "anyone" in this scenario applies only to users in our exchange GAL. The
"mother" and "sister" are internet addresses not connected to our lan.

Doh ! Sorry on re-reading I now see that.
Without making your mother and sister internal users I see no way of giving
them relay access.
You could give them POP Accounts, or enable OWA for them.

I'm not sure but if you make mum and sis 'Smart Contacts' does that
constitute 'internal'.

I'm also not sure on the 'internal' vs 'external' limitation either.
