Interesting thanks, but unfortunately not it.
Reading the article it does say that this issue has been fixed in SP2. The
laptop is running Win XP Pro SP2.
It is probably an issue related to syncronisation of files for off line use.
I know the lappy user was playing around with those early last week, and the
logon wasn't a problem before then. I just can't see what mght have been
changed that makes the domain become forgotten after a few hours of non use
and disconnection, yet plug back iinto the network and all is fine, until
the next disconnect.
