I read Javiers suggestion on using Exchange AD filtering
to get rid of spam (not blocking NDRs) at:
http://msmvps.com/javier/archive/2004/10/27/16828.aspx

Is this only for SBS2003? I'm running SBS2000 and don't
see the setting under filtering. Am I missing something?
I only had 3 options to enable, none being the one
mentioned in the article. If it doesn't work for Exchange
2000 any other ideas. We get (as probably with everyone
else) tons of NDRs daily.

Thanks

Hi Nic!

AFAIK-> Exchange 2000 does not have this capability per se. The only way I
think you could do it is to enable recipient filtering and adding each user
manually to the list. If you have GFI Mail Essentials (and most other
anti-spam packages) then you can do it there.

If you want the exact steps... I could try it on an SBS2k box and report
back (but it might take me a while since I don't have SBS2k on my home
anymore).
