Thanks for all your sincere help.
I am going to let this issue close unresolved. As long as the users can now
access Exchange through Outlook ( they can now..earlier they could not) then
the OWA issue is not important... for now.
You referred me to 3273479 and 292723 both of which should have addressed
this issue
but did not. So I suspect something deeper that I have not been able to get
at...for a leter time.
