I have set up a new SBS 2000 network according to the following
instructions:

http://www.smallbizserver.net/Default.aspx?tabid=50

However, none of the workstations and SBS2000 server have Internet
access. Though we can ping the workstations/server internally, they
can't ping externally (external ip address's or websites.) Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hi Paul,

Please post the ipconfig/all from the server and one from a client. How are
you connecting to the internet?

Could be a couple things, 1) did you install ISA, if so make sure the correct
protocols are setup and ports are open. (If you need help with this let me
know), 2) did you install the firewall client on the workstations? If you did
does it refresh without error? Sometimes when the firewall client is
installed it also leaves the "automatically check settings" checked, you
should uncheck this. 3) Do you have the correct gateway, does the IP address
of your gateway show up in ipconfig /all?

Thanks all!

I did an ipconfig /all and noticed that my external adapter had the
wrong 'Default Gateway' ip address (192.168.0.1). The Nexland
ISBPro800 router I use to connect to the Internet (attached to a cable
modem) is actually 192.168.1.1.
