Is it possible to prevent internet access at specific
workstations while allowing the users at those
workstations to access the internet at other workstations?
In other words, can you make internet access machine
specific, not user specific?
Thanks

Hi Mike,

Thank you for using Microsoft Technical Support Newsgroups.

Assuming you are using ISA, one possibility is to restrict access by IP
address. Either set a static IP address on the workstation or set a DHCP
Reservation for the particular workstation(s) you wish to restrict.

Next, create a Client Address Set that includes the IP address(es) you wish
to restrict. Then create a "deny" Site & Content Rule that applies to the
Client Address Set.

Once again, thank you for using the newsgroups.

Best Regards,
