I have installed ISA which I have never worked with before. I checked the
boxes saying that I would be use IIS, FTP etc on the box. I can access both
IIS and FTP from my internal network. However they are not accessable from
the internet. It appears to be that this is a configuration issue. Where
the heck to I check this? Also where do I go to open/close ports on the
firewall?

You need to be looking at creating IP packet filters.

Actually the answers are yes and yes. The server is a home system not
business and ftp is set to require an NT account to logon. FTP is very
handy for moving files to/from work. Normally the service is shutdown. I
run a terminal session into the box and turn FTP on only when needed.
