I am trying to install SBS 2003 on a Dell PowerEdge
1600SC. The server has the latest BIOS firmware, and I
have all of the latest drivers from Dell for the RAID
controller, etc. This is a new fresh install of SBS
2003.
All goes well until I get to CD2 - specificly the MS
Exchange part of the install. The server freezes shortly
after running the 10 steps of updating the AD schema.
The last thing shown in the progress is "Creating Active
Directory Objects for Microsoft Exchange Server-Level
Objects" - upon which the server competely freeses - no
mouse, caps lock / num lock - all frozen. All I can do
is power it off.
The source CDs are ISO downloads from the MSDN site -
I've downloaded the CDs twice, burned them several times -
same results.

Any help is appreciated.

You should post this question the the SBS2003 NG
(microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs)... so you get a response faster. I
have crossposted this message there.
