Hi,

I have a W2K server with Exchange 2000 Enterprise installed and all is
working fine. Now I want to install SBS2000 to take advantage of the
POP3 connector as well as the management tools available with SBS2000.

Will SBS2000 install directly over the existing setup or will Exchange
2000 need to be uninstalled and let SBS2000 install it's own copy of
Exchange?

Thanks
Rick

SBS2000 comes with Exchange 2000 Standard (not Enterprise)... so it would be
impossible to upgrade that. I don't know if you could uninstall Exchange and
then install SBS.... my guess is that you are better off with a full
reinstall (maybe the spare box method... if you would like to keep AD).

BTW-> Why are you using Exchange 2000 Enterprise? Any specific reason?

Installed full version Exchange for demo and now want to move to SBS.
May wait until I get more sleep to do a reinstall.

Thanks for your reply.
Rick
