Hello,

I am running SBS 2000. My current C: partition is only 4 GB and I'm about
out of space. How can I increase the drive space and avoid a reinstall? Any
advise would be appreciated.

There are no methods which Microsoft will provide any support for to
increase the partition without re-installing.

If you use anything like partitionmagic you do so at your own risk.

Backup backup and backup.

How about just moving all your Data/Temp/Page/Log files and any 3rd
party apps to another larger drive ?

The last time I bumped against this I installed SBS 2003 on a brand
new server. ;-) If you supply more details on the hard drives, the
controllers, and what you have, we may offer more accurate answers.
Chris and Henry offered the basic answers that may help. To expand on
Henry's comments. You only want the bare minimum on the C: drive in
your case. I suspect that is all that is on there now. My typical
install requires 6 gigs. Do a search for old .log, .tmp and .dmp
files. Delete those which are old. Logs are the only tricky ones
because the Exchange server may be using some of those logs.

Thanks for the advise. Already moved apps to D:, Before reinstalling, I'll
try moving the Data/Temp/Page/Log files and see how much room I get.
