Hello.

I'm trying to follow the instructions at smallbizserver.net for Two Nics, a
dynamic IP address, ISA, router, at step f.

I can't find "SBS Console | Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2000 |
Servers and Arrays | | Network Configuration | Local Address Table (LAT)"

I don't have an SBS Console, only Server Management.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Tony

You can also start ISA Management from the Start Menu. If that is started
browse to the hive Network Configuration and there will be the Lat

Hi Tony,

Just to elaborate... Server Management is for 2003 server. Network pages at
smallbizserver.net are specific to 2000 (SBS Console). Also references to
ICW when 2003 is now CEICW. Sure the M & Ms are aware just they very busy
and will split it up for 2000 / 2003 for the newbies... ;-)... what if
someone got standard and one nic...lol

However content is applicable to both versions of servers when dealing with
ISA

Assuming you have 2003 Premium and installed ISA then you will have to go
Start etc. Never understood why ISA didn't appear in Server Management when
it is installed.... or I missed something to get it added...

I'm sorry folks. Can someone tell me exactly where to find the ISA. I
looked all over for it. The only thing i can find is IIS. Is it in there ?
It doesn't look like what they are talking about.

Both replies said to look in the strat menu, but where ?

Thanks,
Tony

Hi Tony

Start, All Programs and here you should see Microsoft ISA Server then run
ISA Management.

This assumes you have SBS 2003 PREMIUM edition and installed ISA. Even
though you are in 2000 NG (2003 ng see below) mentioning Server Management
is in 2003.

If not in start programs, is it in add/remove programs as Microsoft Internet
Security and Acceleration Server..

a) you don't have SBS Premium and thereofre don't have ISA.
b) You have SBS Premium but have not installed ISA (it's optional)
c) You can't find it.

I'm hoping it's a) or b) :-)

In either case, just ignore the ISA bits of the article.

first, let's get you into the right group.

SBS Newsgroups:

SBS v4.x: microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz
SBS 2000: microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz2000
SBS 2003: microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs

if your ISP doen't carry the newsgroups on their server you can connect
directly to news.microsoft.com

Then, let's get your system working AS IS, then you might think about
installing ISA.

Hi Bill,

Yes, we are indeed very busy. And no, we don't support 1 nic in SBS.
