Hi we have sbs 2000 with exchange. As of Friday, all old messages from a
certain mailbox have deleted. Any ideas how did this happen? Is there a way
to retrive these messages other than from backup?

Where were the old messages? Inbox or deleted items?

Are you using psts or is all mail delivered to the information store?

What backup solution are you using? Do you have 10 tapes to work from?

Is the workstations set to autoarchive old messages? Have you searched
for pst's on the workstation?

Note that the subject line will affect the quality and quantity of
replies. If you had typed Help, lost messages in users inbox would be
a better subject.
