Hi,
We have a site with SBS2000 server, and win2000 server,
with 27 users, 25 users can see both the servers through
My network places, so we can map drives.

But three users cant see the win2000 server, nor can map
the drives on that server, we can ping the server. The
funny part is if we logon not using the domain, but the
local PC, we can see the win2000 server. i am at my end on
this.

has anyone come across this problem.

ps. the error we get when we try and access the win2000
server is that "No logon server is present" the SBS2000
server is fine.

Please help

Jay

Hi Jay,

All machines fully patched? Does the ipconfig/all show that everything is
pointing to the server-IP? Is it machine related or user related?

on the server go to regedit and change IsDomainMaster to true in all places.
REBOOT the server and then reboot all workstations. This is a master
browser issue that has only ever been acknowledged by me and this is the
only way to fix it and hell yes, I will take all credit.
