Help

Really need your help!

in Exchange 2000, I cannot mount a public folder store.

I had a backp so I just renamed the pub1.edb and pub1.stm to old.edb and
old.stm

then remount the store.

it said db file not found so I click yes to create a new one.

after that I renamed that old to pub1

but still cannot mount the store

it just said
"Error 0xfffffbf8 starting database "First Storage Group\Public Folder Store
(ABC-SERVER)" on the Microsoft Exchange Information Store.
Failed to attach to Jet DB. "
This event ID is 9519
and event source is MSExchangeIS

in addition, the security tab of m drive said fail to show security
information
the "public folder" is missing in m drive!

did you check the box to "this database can be overwritten by a restore"?
