I am trying to setup Group Policy on our SBS 2000 machine. The main reason
why we are doing this is to roll out a DSN registry key for an ODBC System
DSN.

I have opened up AD, right-clicked>Properties and I can see in there a Group
Policy tab and in there listed Default Domain Policy. I have added a new GP
called "company policy" with no overide ticked.

Questions...

1. Now, how do I apply this policy to a user or machine?
2. Can I add a key in there for a registry update on clients?
3. Can I add an ODBC System DSN to be updated on the clients?

I ticked the Apply Group Policy for myself and my machine name when I
right-clicked the Group Policy Name in the Group Policy tab when I
right-clicked the server in AD>Properties.

The user configurations get appied to the machine when I log off and log on
again. I rebooted the machine and I cannot apply the Registry key in
Computer Configuration>Windows Settings>Registry.

Help please!!

Thanks.
