I'm rebuiding our Group Policy on our terminal server and cannot out of the
box accomplish what we had in the past. For example disable browse My
computer, or remove this all together from the desktop, or if explorer is
opened not being able to browse disks and shares. I know that the company
that helped us with the security asked for the resource kit for w2000 and
for Office2000 while setting this up.

Was this accomplished by additional features from one of these resource
kits?

TIA,

Fred

The Office Resource Kit contains the policy templates for those programs.
Most of the UI restriction policies are available in the built-in policies,
though that company may have used a few of the W2k resource kit tools to do
some things. Suggest you give the MS sites for both kits a good read.
