I have this working without any problems !
1. Your normal user account should be Mailbox enabled (as default).
2. Create a dummy login account (ie: Z-MyExternalAc) but do NOT enable
the mailbox facility.
3. Give this dummy login a Strong Password to prevent people trying to
use it and give it your required external email address.
4. Enable mail forwarding on your real Mailbox user to the dummy login.
