Hi all,

Weird one here. On one of my clients the folder list in My Computer &
Windows Explorer is completely grey/gray (where in the world are you?). Any
ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance,
Clive

Hi,

From a command prompt type the following command and press enter:

Regsvr32 %systemroot%\System32\MSHTML.DLL

Then, to resolve the gray pane displayed in Windows Explorer:

Open Add/Remove Programs
Click on the Microsoft IE6 entry
Click the Change/Remove button
Click to select the Repair Internet Explorer radio button
Click OK and allow the repair to complete

Thanks Keith. I have tried your sugestion, but need to get the client to
restart the server (after the IE repair). This will need to be after
business hours, but I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks again for a quick response.
Clive

Sorry for the late reply - client just restarted server after those changes,
and all still the same - :-( still greyed out. Any others ideas?

Regards,
Clive.
