Hi

We have a small file sharing network consisting of W98, W2k, XP and MAC work stations connected to a W2k server. Most of the time everything works fine but we keep getting file locking errors. You will try to delete a file from one machine and after it reports the file is in use on another machine, you find according to the server log it is, but on the machine itself, it's no longer in use. Last time it occured it appeared to be windows explorer that last accessed the file on an XP machine

Has anyone got any clues ??

Many thanks
