I agree (there's no reason to think a reinstall of anything will help,
particularly if it's a setting that's causing the problem). And by the way,
if your problem is not urgent, you can use the e-mail version of MS support
for $99. They'll work just as hard to help you out, but without the urgency
they give phone callers - it might take you a few days to solve it using
e-mail.
