I have this error trying to log on as an administrator of the server:

"The system cannot log you on (533), try again or contact your administrator."

The problem is I'm the administrator and I have no clue. I have searched all
Microsoft and I could not find anything related to it that was worth reading.

Plase Help..URGENT !!!

I'm totally sure man. I read the article about the 573 error, it's not my case.

I think it was a variant of the Netsky virus, last thing I saw before
restarting the machine was a pop-up message from eTrust antivirus that it had
found and cured the virus in an email message.

I'm pretty used to this, and when this happens I wait for everyone to leave
and restart the server after making sure the virus found in the .EML file is
cured and then erased. But this time, when server came backup I saw this
error when trying to login and none of the services went up, looked like a
denial of service problem.

I managed to log on into the server in Safe Mode without Network support, so
I assume there must be something related to the Internet connection, like an
open port or something.

I'm running all removal tools for the NetsKy virus right now. What else can
you recommend ?

Thanks for answering !!

Anti-hijack tools...

"Hi-jack this" (shows where a hi-jack might be, if you can read into all
the lines it produces in it's log).

MS Antispyware, has some good IE reset options.

CWShredder

and if no joy, I'd additionally try:
Spybot Search & Destroy
Lavasoft Ad-Aware

I'd also install and scan with additional virus s/w - to double up on
scanning for virues that your current product might either: a) not be
finding, or b) the 'infection' might be disabling the virus s/w partly
or wholey from doing it's job.
Your choices (for free stuff), includes:
AntiVir and AVG.

If you get things sorted, don't leave more than 1 antivirus solution on
the server - could cause probs.
