Okay, I'm not getting any suggestions and maybe I'm not wording what I need to do correctly. I need to re-install Exchange to try to fix a problem we are having

I want to export all user mailboxes and public folders so that we don't loose any e-mails, contacts, public folders, etc.

My question is, how do I export these items? I've gone into Exchange System Manager, clicked on Servers, clicked on <server name>, and then clicked on First Storage Group. There are two sub-categories under First Storage Group. They are Mailbox Store and Public Folder Storage. I've right-clicked on both of these sub-categories, and there is a "Export List" option. Is this what I want to do or is this not correct.

Please help, I need to get this done ASAP

TIA for ANY help on this

Export/Copy Exchange User Mailboxes and Public Folders by Ted

You could install and use Exmerge (on one of the SBS
discs) to merge out mail to .pst files, then back in to
the new environment. You will have to export the Public
folders from Outlook (You could try backing up Exchange,
and then restoring it, but that'll most likely take
longer).

Another option would be to export each user's mailbox
individually to a .pst file from their computers, then re-
import after you rebuild. How many users are you talking
about? Exmerge works slick, but if it's a small amount
of users, exporting could be quicker.

you need to Exmerge(found on sbs cd )

This program will pull all users contact/email etc. into pst files.
Here is a link to a common ermissions problem encountered during first time
use.

As as as public goes go into outlook and export them out from client
machine.

Oh and it is going to give you a dll file error. Just search for the file
and copy it into the same folder and it should run. cant remeber the exact
location of the file but search and it will come up...

Hope this helps
