When we came in this morning it appears we have lost the ability to send and
receive internal or external email. All the Exchange services are working
properly and mailbox and public store are mounted. We can all get into our
mailboxes and read our existing messages but we can't send anything. It
appears to send (disappears from the outbox) but just goes into a black
hole. The same applied to internal or external mail inbound and outbound.
Very strange.
Ideas please??

Update:
Found lots of messages in PreDeliveryQueue. From Internet information
appears could be related to antivirus software. We had tried turning on the
Exchange integration in Symantec A/V but not sure we have installed the
additional CD for Exchange. Disabled Exchange integration in SAV. Restarted
Server and voila all email now flowing. Will attempt turn integration back
on later.
