I have just installed the SBS 2000 on a completely new machine and
everything is running on the same machine such as DHCP, ISA, IIS, Exchange
2000 server etc. Since we are connected to the Internet all the time I have
followed the microsoft recommened installation i.e. use mycompany.local
intenally and mycompany.com externally. Everything went well during
installation and we are now serving few client machines.
Now I tried to access Exchange System Manager the first time I received the
following message back and after clicking ok Exchange System Manager starts
but with blank window.
Snap-in failed to initialize
CLSID {......}
I then went into Program Files - Exchsrvr - Bin - Exchange System
Manager.msc and right clicked it and selected Author and then from the
console I removed the mmc. Now whenever I start Exchange System Manager I
dont get that message and it starts normally but the only thing I see when
it opens up is Console Root folder in the left hand pane.
Is there any way I can connect to Exchange System Manager??? or If I have to
create a new mmc then how would I do it??? Thanks in advance.
