Hi,

We have SBS 2000 running on an IBM x232 Server. Of late,
I find that the Exchange Server stops responding to
clients and I find a lot of error message in the
Applicaton log. However, all the Exchange services remain
started. This is happening atleast once a day. If I
restart the server everything starts working fine and it
continues for another 24 hours. I have also noticed that
when this happens, I am not able to get into the details
of the events in the Event logs and when I try to close
the Event viewer I get a similar message saying
that "Close all property pages before you close Event
viewer". Please advise.

Thanks,
Rina.

What kind of errormessages do you get? Are you running Exchange-aware
backups? Is your server fully patched? How about your workstations?
How many nics in the server?
