Hi I'm trying to help a company that has recently moved offices.
Everything is working properly, the VPN is working with the new IP
address setup and everything seemed ok....

HOWEVER, we've just tried to access remotley via http://serveripaddress/remote
and found it didn't work (page not found). Same thing happens with /
exchange and with mobile devices. After looking into this I can see
that each virtual directory of IIS (\remote, \exchange, etc) is
totally empty and has no files or pages in there at all.

Has anyone else had this and does anyone have a workaround? This is by
no means a new server and to reinstall exchange (webmail is the most
crucial thing we need right now) would be a massive undertaking and I
REALLY don't want to do this if there is any other (simpler) way
around this.

Any help / advice is much appreciated

thanks

Martin

Can you verify all Exchange and IIS services are running? Check the Event
Viewer for any related Errors? Is the SBS server patched to the latest
version of SP's?

Hi, I've checked and all services are running for exchange, etc. I
restarted most of these just in case.
There is nothing of any note in the event viewer either which is why
I'm a bit stumpted....

Looks like IIS got hosed at some point. I would reinstall Exchange from the
SBS CD. This will not harm anything but it will insure that the proper IIS
Exchange Virtual Directories get created. If you are uncomfortable with
reinstalling Exchange, then I would give Microsoft PSS a call.
