I have ISA 2000 SP1 and Exchange 2003 in a SBS Box.
Exchange was working fine, I installed ISA and things
started happening.
First of all is a Dual home box connected to a router for
the Internet and a Switch for Internal. When I installed
ISA, Windows disabled the external Network connection.
Then I enabled it, configure ISA, but still not working.
I am wondering if there is a Manual or installatrio
procedure for ISA and Exchange in the same box. Thanks

The Secure Server Publishin Wizard in Server Publishing will guide you
through the configuration.

The Help files in ISA are very informative - with scenarios towards the end
of the index.

Just a second... are we talking about an SBS2k3 Premium box??? You need to
do the integrated setup and run CEICW.

I also experienced a similar problem. Luckily I was still in roll out mode
and decided to start over. Once things get messed up they can be difficult
to untangle.

Please keep the discussion on the Newsgroups.

SBS is designed to be installed in a certain way/process. If you did it
manually... then I suggest you start over. Follow the integrated setup, when
you get to the To Do List click on Connect to Internet (to run the CEICW
wizard) which will guide you to configure Exchange, ISA, etc. properly.

You will see that at the end you will be a much happy camper :-)

Hello,

Thanks for posting here.

According to your description, I am afraid I cannot get a clear picture of
the problems you encountered.

Please first describe the situation in more details. What the symptoms and
behavior your encoutered?

1. Does only Exchange encounter problems?
2. Dose the external mail flow have problems in Exchange? How about the
internal flow?

At the meanwhile, I suggest you run the CEICW first. Generally and the
easiest way, we will use CEICW (Configure Email and Internet Connection
Wizard) to configure the internet accessing and publish internal resource
to the Internet in SBS 2K3 environment. To run the CEICW, please find it at
Server Management -> To Do List -> Connect to Internet.

I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks and have a nice day!
