This may not be the best group to post this question in, but this is
an active group that I occassionally lurk in so it will certainly
serve as a good start.

I work in a 350 workstation, 20+ server Windows environment. We are
looking for a _good_ Event Log consolidation tool - preferably one
that is more GUI based than manual. I have looked briefly at GFI's
Even Log Monitor and wasn't too impressed with it but maybe I didn;t
give it enough time. We don't need a lot of fluff. Any
recommendations/experience?

Thanks

Hi Roberto, with my big sites with multiple servers I use SMS and MOM (can
use on SBS sites but cost isn't justified)

Depends what you what to actually achieve, have a look here:-

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sms/sms2003/security/spsecsms03/spsec_3.mspx

http://www.microsoft.com/mom/default.mspx

How are you monitoring / deploying stuff in this environment currently ?
