I checked the Event Viewer today, and there was not one
event listed in any of the categories within Event
Viewer.

I'm concerned that this means there is a problem within
the SBS server.

How can I get the events to start logging again? What
are some possibilities that is causing this?

first of all I would take a look at your services...do all show started??

Have you rebooted, installed anything new...changed the config in anyway
that might cause this behaviour??

Yes, all the services that should be started are started.

I just rebooted, and it took "forever" to startup. I
would estimate that it is taking about four or five
minutes longer to boot up than the last time I rebooted
the server.

I have not installed anything new and have not made any
changes at all in any way to the server's hardware and/or
software.

Any suggestions now?

Torrey

Have you gone in and looked at the logging setting for say Exchange...I know
there are typically some that should be recording by default without doing
anything...

I'm assuming that after the reboot, there are still no entries in the Event
View for any of the categories??

Have a look at article 172156 about how to delete corrupt event viewer logs.
