I continuously get the following error in the event log. Where the ip
address displayed is related to a previous ISP that was once used. I can't
locate any relation to that IP Address in any settings. I don't believe it's
causing any problems except for the 10 extra log entries per day.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

sbs 2000 or sbs 2003?

if sbs2003, a hot fix from Microsoft is available:

This is SBS 2000.
I looked at that article but did not notice anything that applies here. I
did some looking through the DNS but didn't see any references to the IP
that is in the event 5501.
