Error on installation of SQL on SBS 2000

After puting the CD2 for a while, it shows

I press "OK" and anther 30 mins, it shows

cidaemon.exe - Application Erro
The instruction at "0x77fcb3ad" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be "written".

Click on OK to terminate the program

Anyone can give me some hints to fix it?

This error can be caused by antivirus software running during the
installation. Also, it is possible to see this error if your server's NetBIOS
name is longer than 13 characters.

Dear David:
Thanks for yours reply.
The SBS 2000 Server had installed the Norton AntiVirus/Filtering for
Microsoft Exchange 2000 and Norton AntiVirus Corporation Edition 8.0. Do you
think if I should uninstall it or just stop the services?

Dear David:
I have stopped the services of Symantec AntiVirus for Exchange and the
AntiVirus Clients, but it still fail. The message is similar but difference
instruction as followings:

Thank you for the update.

The antivirus software may need to be uninstalled in order to ensure that it
is not interfering with the installation.

Also, we may have a problem with the hard drives themselves or the RAM
installed in the server. Please run a thorough ScanDisk to ensure the
drives are error-free.

I am using Compaq ML370, with 1G CPU and 1G Ram.
I have checked the Harddisks and Ram by Compaq Diagnostics for Windows, they
