I keep getting an error pop up dialog (Error 1720, unable
to run script) when I attempt to install the SP1 patch for
Small Business Server 2000.

I have already installed Windows 2000 sp4 and Exchange
Server SP3. Any suggestions what I can do to run the SP1?

Thanks....a lot if you can help.....

SP1 contains Windows 2000 SP3. Since you already have SP4 installed, the
installer is probably confused. I'd recommend getting SBS SP1a which
contains Win2K SP4 and Exchange SP3. The other patches and fixes are the
same as SBS SP1.

There was a fix for the 1720 error with SBS SP1 but it may not apply to your
issue.
