I was remotely logged into an SBS2000 Server using RDC over VPN. I
clicked on the Event Viewer shortcut on the desktop and received this
error:

TEMPORARY DIRECTORY IS NOT FOUND OR NOT ENOUGH DISK SPACE

I am pretty sure the Event Viewer works when opening at the console
but last week was the last time I knew for sure when I was there in
person.

Any ideas on cause or resolution to this error?

Thanks!

might want to make sure that the event viewer service is started
see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555632/en-us
