IIS Error

Event log is full of this error. Any ideas please????

The server failed to load application '/LM/W3SVC/1/ROOT'. The error was
'General access denied error'.

My guess would be ID: 116, and it is PWS on workstation. Never seen this
error on IIS.

Description: The server failed to load application '/LM/W3SVC/1/ROOT'. The
error was 'General
access denied error'.

If this regarding IIS 5.0 (ie. SBS 2000) then the first thing to check is
to make sure that the IISADMIN service is running under the local system
account and not a user account.

To verify this, on the server open up the Services console. Then go into
the Properties of the IISADMIN service. In the Log On tab, be sure that the
Local System Account is enabled, and that "Allow service to interact with
desktop" is NOT checked.
