I keep getting a message when I start to send an email
"A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this
If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose "No"
I'm running SBS 2000, my pc is running windows X
I'm up to date with norton, I did a full system scan and found no viruses
Confused and annoyed as to why I keep getting this message.

Do you have any 3rd party software installed such as
Nokia PC Sync or PDA Synchronisation software?
Alternatively, try downloading the AVERT Stinger tool
from www.nai.com and running it to scan your memory space
as well as all fixed drives.

Running multiple av-programs can cause problems. I would uninstall the
Norton completely first, reboot and make sure everything is gone before
installing another av program.

Also, when applications such as Palm's Intellisync try
and synchronise contact information Outlook perceives
this as virus like activity, when in fact it is expected,
desired, behaviour.
