Hello,

Just found out today that there will be two editions of
SBS 03. Does anyone know if there will be a different
number of concurrent clients in the two editions and the
rough prices for the two. Has anyone actually played with
SBS 03 and are there any advantages over SBS 02.

cheers

Mohammad,

The details on concurrent connections has not been finalised yet. MS says
they won't know for sure until the code is RTM.

Yes people are playing with SBS2003 right now. There is a public release
candidate available. You can order it at:

http://microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/sbs/default.mspx

Some of the benefits:
Vastly streamlined setup and customisation.
Much better interface for remote users
Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003 and OWA much improved
Volume shadow copy eliminates issues with bare metal restores
Easy in-place upgrade from SBS2000
Great deal from microsoft for license holders with Software Assurance
On-line hands-on training available right now
Sharepoint Team Services included for workplace communications and document
exchange/storage

just to name a few.

Also visit www.smallbizserver.net and have a look at the SBS2003 section.
This community is gearing up to provide the same if not better level of
support to all SBSers for the new release!
