We are expreincing some strange occurances on our SBS2K
server. Its seem that the domain controller goes missing.
The event log shows MSex. error9175. The server has SP1a
installed I tried reinstalling this and I got an error
that this was a pre windows 2000 server. The AD is
unavaileable if I try to connect to the domain I receive a
similar message cannot connect to a pre W2K domain.
Rebooting the server clears the problem for a period of
time. Anti Virus software is all upto date. The server
still runs but emails become unavaileable. Advice please

on the server, regedit and search for IsDomainMaster and set all to True.
Let us know if that helps.
