I have a customer with SBS2000. I created some new distribution lists in the
GAL. Everyone can see the new distribution listx except for the boss. And
the only difference that I can see is that his computer (laptop) is running
Office 2003, while everyone else is running Outlook 2000/2002/XP.

Any ideas? I will be going to Slipstick in a moment.

Thanks!

Try synchronizing his mailbox (F9). Assuming you're running in cached
Exchange mode, that may fix it. I've seen some unusual (to say the least)
behavior running cached mode on Exchange 2000, including that at one point I
could not get any messages dated on the current date.

Dave, indeed during a sync (F9) did the trick.

Kevin - I'm hoping that cached Exchange mode works better with Exchange 2003
than it does with 2000, where it seems to be a lot of trouble for no
benefit. Actually, the junk e-mail filter seems to require cached mode, and
I was having pretty good luck with that feature.
