Hello,

I have a user who is using a Windows 98 computer at home and accessing the
network using a VPN. Unfortunately, he has to use AOL to get the net so he
can use the VPN. He connects okay, but when he goes to open a file, it seems
that he is getting disconnected. I don't understand why the server would be
cutting him off. I looked for something related to this in the event log,
but cant find anything. Does anyone have an idea as to what's going on? If
you need more info, let me know. Thanks.

Chris

Do the other Win98 users that vpn using real isps have better luck?
Why not let that user borrow a real dial up account for a half hour to
see if it does better?

Jim,

Thanks for the quick response. I have another client on a normal ISP, and
she has no troubles (after the initial setup for the VPN anyway). Thats what
I will try in the morning. Thanks for the idea.
